Dr. Kugelman is an assistant clinical professor at the Yale School of Medicine, a clinical instructor at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, and was also Chief of Dermatology at Hartford Hospital for 17 years. In addition to publishing and teaching, Dr. Kugelman has been recognized as a "Best Doctor" by Hartford Magazine, "Top Doctor" by Connecticut Magazine, and "America's Most Compassionate Doctor" by Patient's Choice.

Dr. Levinbook has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, as well as sections of an online dermatology website. She is an assistant staff member in the department of medicine at Hartford Hospital, where she has taught resident physicians and medical students. In addition, Dr. Levinbook has been selected as one of "America's Top Dermatologists" by Consumer's Research Council of America and as a "Top Doctor" by the International Association of Dermatologists. She has been selected for the Global Directory of Who's Who for contributions in the area of dermatology and has been included in the Cambridge Who's Who Among Professional Physicians, the Biltmore Who's Who Among Executives and Professional Women, and the Marquis Who's Who in Medicine and Health Care. She has also been recognized as a "Top Doctor" by Connecticut Magazine.
Aileen Deamer, MSN, ANP
Aileen Deamer, MSN, ANP comes to Hartford Dermatology Associates with two decades of dermatology experience in both private and hospital based practice. Initially a surgical intensive care unit nurse at Tufts University Medical Center in Boston, she went on to obtain her masters degree at her alma mater, Simmons College. In 1998, after practicing for several years at South Boston Community Health clinic, she was chosen to be the first primary care provider to be accepted into Boston University Medical Center’s dermatology program. Aileen has been working exclusively as a dermatology nurse practitioner since that time. For the last 12 years, she has practiced dermatology at the VA Medical Center in Newington and she is excited to bring her dermatologic skills back to private practice at Hartford Dermatology Associates.
